Abstract

Some studies had identified the presence of a proline-rich polypeptide (PRP) in sheep and cow milk and subsequent studies had proven its positive effect in the treatment of the Alzheimer Disease. This work had as objective to research a viable methodology to determine the presence of the proline amino acid in dairy products as milk, cheese and yoghurt, for future use in human milk.
