Abstract

It was performed in this work a diagnostic of the evalution of the quality of refrigerated raw milk from four cooperatives in the Upper Paranaíba region - Minas Gerais. It was taken as reference the Instruction n.º51, during the study period from january 2008 to may 2011. During this period was analyzed 13.213 samples of raw milk cooled, and the somatic cell count (SCC) conducted by flow cytometry, using the equipment Somacount 300® and Total Bacterial Count (TBC) using Bactocount IBC®. It was found that SCC and TBC met the limits established by Instruction n.º51.
